Ai Weiwei is a conceptual artist, architect and political activist. Mr. Ai is widely regarded as China’s most prominent contemporary artist and one of the country’s most innovative thinkers. He is perhaps best known for helping to design the iconic Bird’s Nest Olympic Stadium in Beijing, his sunflower seeds exhibition and his political activism toward a better China.
